Photo from Niagara Falls

This is me at Niagara Falls on the Maid of the Mist. We really did have a good time. I did get a little wet even under the poncho. The day was pretty overcast and so there wasn't much opportunity for a rainbow in the mist. We did have a good day tho and later that evening made our way into Ontario over the Rainbow Bridge.
There isn't much going on here the last few days. Just been doing the norm. Went to curves and haven't felt myself, but dragging myself along. Well, just wanted to share a photo from the trip and let you know I was still alive here. Take care

WI day

Well, today was my first WI at WW since I started this blog. I am happy to say that after all my ramblings I am down 2.6 lbs. A total loss of 79.8 lbs and they are gone forever. Made it to Curves today even though the weather didn't look like it was going to cooperate. Looks like we are going to get major thunderstorms and they are talking about the possibilities of tornadoes. We don't live in an area where we get many tornadoes as it is pretty mountainous here, but I have heard of a few from time to time. Well, I have many things to do so I am going for now. Happy day everyone!

A new day has begun

I wasn't sure I was going to make it to Curves yesterday but I did. Got there in the afternoon. I had a terrible cramp in my leg the night before and it still hurt yesterday morning when I got up so I decided not to go. I went with hubby to the store and did a few errands and it felt good enough by 3pm to be able to go to Curves. I did alright with my points yesterday. Still had 3 left at the end of the day, but could have easily miscalculated dinner last night. Hubby made a box of pasta and added a jar of Ragu with almost a pound of 93% lean angus beef. After he had it all mixed up in the pot, I didn't really know how to measure it to be able to know what the exact points were. I still have 17 weekly points left and I am aiming to leave those alone, so that should take care of anything I missed.
Anyway, Mom is out of the hospital. She had to have surgery on her esphogus and I haven't spoken to her. I need to call her and see what is up. Stephen is back to taking his meds again and is behaving nicely. No stress there. On the other hand, hubby can cause alot of stress. He yells for no reason and doesn't listen when you talk to him. It can become a real circus act around here. I love the fact that the kids start school next Tuesday. One more week and then maybe some peace around here.
Tomorrow is WW day and I can't wait. I am hoping to at least have lost a pound. I have worked out 3x this week so far, not including if I go today. I have pretty much stuck to the program. I only lost .8 last week and really expected it to be more. Well, that is all part of the journey, right? So I guess I will post my results tomorrow after WW.

After the weekend

I had a nice weekend. Went down to the American Legion and the barbeque benefit. It was a great turnout. The food was good. I saved my WPAs for the weekend so that I could eat and not really worry about it. I didn't do too bad with my choices. I came home and put my weekend in my PDA and I still have 19 WPAs left and 5 points for today still, and it's only 8pm. I managed to treat myself to 2 glasses of wine Saturday as well. So the time has come for me to settle in at home and get things ready for the day tomorrow. Off to Curves first thing and then to do laudry and shopping. Great time!!!
